The Press Herald's Edward D. Murphy had an interesting column yesterday about the industries in which Maine ranks first in terms of receipts per capita. Using 2002 numbers, the U.S. Census Bureau says Maine leads the country in the amount of sales dollars per person in numerous industries, including call-centers, paper production, and RVs.
