You'd think a story with the lede, "[a] Westbrook man is being held on charges of grabbing another man's walking stick and beating him with it," would alone be worth the price of admission. That is until you read the comments associated with the story (which can be read here, by the way.)

We'll keep you posted on any further degradations of the English language. As for Brown Street, I personally love it and appreciate its, um, character.
