Symbol Resigns

Apparently, I missed an eventful City Council meeting last night. (I actually miss every meeting, but don't tell anyone.)

According to Ann Kim, the Press Herald's Westbrook correspondent, City Councilor Ed Symbol (R-Ward 3) resigned from the council to fill that ward's school board seat vacated by Jack Gorsuch. And the City Council approved a proposal to allow farm animals in residential areas. Which was unrelated to its decision to deny numerous licenses to the Skybox Bar and Grill, a Brown Street bar.

Zing!
