Sappi reneged on an agreement to remove the Cumberland Mills Dam without explanation (the speculation is that the cost estimates to do so were higher than initially anticipated).
And the Presumpscot River Watershed Coalition is hosting the first annual Presumpscot River Fest on July 19, from 9a-1p.
There's probably a snarky one-liner to end this post somewhere, but I'm in too much of a hurry to think of it. Maybe commenters can help.
