Bustlin' Bill Baker popped up on the television a couple times last week.
First, the Westbrook Police (and Fire) Chief appeared on Ray Richardson's morning show Tuesday to chew the spruce gum about such topics as the City's search for a new Fire Chief (most likely an external candidate), the Al-Hamdany arrest ("it's large symbolically"), the criticism of his decision to invite the media along for the aforementioned arrest ("I'm surprised there's any controversy about that"), the value of home/car security systems, and how the public can help its neighbors in crisis.
Then he gave WCSH's Chris Rose a tour of the, er, cribs of Westbrook's homeless and explained the police department's policy regarding the city's transient population (they won't just drop them off at the Gorham town line, for example).
