With the recent closure of the Picture and Frame shop, I am not sure that Westbrook's Creative economy is all that sound. I don't mean to be a doubting Thomas, but if our Art community was working and living well, certainly it could have sustained a frame shop?
Ken and Janet worked very hard to start this business in Westbrook and gave it their all. All startup businesses are challenging for various reasons. Artists are living and working in Westbrook, some very successfully. It really takes all of Westbrook to get on board with the BUY LOCAL movement to make this happen. Ask yourselves what can I do everyday to BUY LOCAL.
