Sports Update

Below are the top performances turned in by Westbrook High School's winter athletes at each team's respective state championships.

Boys' Indoor Track (10th place overall)
Emmanuel Vincent finished fourth in the 400-yard race.

Patrick Fagan finished third in both the shot put and the high jump.

Girls' Indoor Track (12th place overall)
Audrey Cobb finished second in the shot put.

Courtney Mailly finished fourth in the high jump.

Boys' Swimming (10th place overall)
Keegan Goan won the 100-yard butterfly and tied for fourth in the 50-yard freestyle.

Derek Hawkes finished third in both the 500-yard freestyle and the 100-yard breaststroke.

Girls' Swimming (20th place overall)
Kathryn Violette finished third in both the 500-yard freestyle and the 200-yard invidual medley for the girls' swimming team.

Wrestling (4th place overall)
Glenn Emery finished fourth in the 119-pound division.

Cole Larrivee won the 152-pound championship.

Troy Fogg finished third in the 160-pound division.

Harrison Strondak finished second in the 189-pound division.

Andrew Drouin won the 215-pound championship.
