A Little Help From You, Dear Reader
I've done some digging since I posted this morning's "Did You Know?" and have learned that the address for Leander Valentine's house was 99 Saco Street. Given that address's relative proximity to West Valentine Street, can anyone confirm or deny that Westbrook's first mayor is the namesake for that street, as well as for East Valentine Street? Also, can anyone inform me as to whether a Valentine Street exists or has ever existed? It's listed on my handy "Municipal Street List" (yeah, I'm a geek), but I couldn't find it on GIS or Yahoo! Maps. It just seems odd that there would be a West Valentine Street and an East Valentine Street, but no Valentine Street.

Did You Know?
Did you know Westbrook's first mayor, Leander Valentine, lived in two different cities (Portland and Westbrook) and four different towns (Falmouth, Cape Elizabeth, Stroudwater, and Westbrook), despite always living in the same Saco Street home?
